NEW YORK, July 12, 2011 — Affect, a public relations and social media firm based in New York, today announced it will be hosting a webinar along with Strutta, an interactive promotions company enabling businesses to manage fully branded online contests. The webinar, which is sponsored by the Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA), will run from 12 – 1 p.m. EST on July 13 and will focus on providing attendees with best practices, tools and technologies for successfully building, executing and promoting online contests.
Leslie Campisi, vice president and partner of Affect, and Ben Pickering, CEO of Strutta, will educate attendees on how brands can strategically leverage an online contest platform in order to meet their marketing goals and maximize ROI. In addition, the duo will present tools to promote the contest on social media and tips to optimize the entry process to garner higher engagement. To illustrate their tips and best practices for building and executing an online contest, Campisi and Pickering will present a case study on the New York Intern Project, Affect’s recent social media contest to find a summer intern.
