An ardent entrepreneur, Sandra Fathi has spent the last 20 years helping technology, healthcare and professional services companies achieve their goals. As President and Founder of Affect, a public relations, marketing and social media agency, Sandra has successfully led the company with consistent growth since the agency’s inception in 2002.
Sandra started her career as a reporter for a division of Ziff Davis and IDG Tech Network. She went on to work at a number of leading technology firms and one of the top global PR agencies. Her clients have included Apple, EDS, Ericsson, Nokia and Microsoft, as well as innovative start-ups.
Sandra is also active in the communications industry and professional community. She has served on the Board of the PR Council, Chair of PRSA’s Tri-State District, President of PRSA-NY and President of the PRSA Technology Section. She is a sought-after speaker for conferences and events and her expert commentary has appeared in business and industry outlets such as CNN, Forbes, Entrepreneur, Inc., Huffington Post and U.S. News & World Report. Adding to her accolades, Sandra has been recognized as one of Ragan’s Top Women in Communications, PRNews’ Top Women in PR, and a PRNews PR Professional of the Year finalist.
In addition to her professional pursuits, Sandra is a wife and mother of two children and one demanding dog. She is passionate about philanthropic work and serves on the Chair of the Board of Directors of HavServe, a nonprofit organization focused on community-led development in Haiti.
Brittany is a Senior Vice President at Affect, where her extensive background in media relations for B2B and B2C technology companies enables her clients to get the recognition they deserve and in front of the right audiences at the right times. A seasoned media strategist, Brittany brings her keen understanding of the rapidly-evolving media landscape to every client engagement. She is particularly passionate about helping her clients create unique messaging and storylines that resonate with the press, position executives as premier thought leaders, and ultimately, drive greater market demand for their products and services.
In her nearly eleven years at Affect, Brittany has led award-winning PR programs that touch a wide-range of industries, including enterprise & consumer security, governance, risk & compliance (GRC), HR technology, supply chain and logistics, mobile/e-Commerce and more. Her sound counsel, can-do approach and creative tact has helped numerous companies transform from virtually unknown entities to sought-after experts in business, technology and vertical press alike.
Prior to Affect, Brittany was a Senior Account Representative at Boston-based Lois Paul & Partners (LP&P). There, she was responsible for media outreach, analyst relations and content development for clients ranging from small start-ups to Fortune 50 organizations. Brittany was also recognized by industry peers for her outstanding accomplishments in PR and was awarded the Publicity Club of New England Bronze Bell Young PR Professional Award.
Brittany holds a B.A. in public relations with a concentration in psychology from Hofstra University.
Jen is an award-winning public relations and integrated communications expert. With more than 20 years experience developing and managing relevant, engaging and measurably successful integrated communications programs for leading global brands, Jen’s expertise goes wide and far.
Over the course of her career, she has developed and led creative and measurably impactful campaigns for a wide variety of companies, ranging from start-ups to some of the biggest brands in the world. Her industry expertise spans B2C and B2B marketing across a wide variety of sectors, including technology, health and wellness, automotive, consumer goods, food and beverage, retail, travel and hospitality, luxury and more. She is a proven brand builder and storyteller with a keen focus on creating highly strategic and creative integrated communications and marketing programs that deliver real business impact.
Prior to joining Affect, Jen founded and led the New York office for Lewis Global Communications and was the U.S. head for M&C Saatchi PR. She also previously held leadership positions at Golin and CKPR. In addition to winning dozens of awards for her client campaign work, Jen has also been recognized as one of PR News’ Top Women in PR.
