What we looking for

The Account Supervisor (AS) is responsible for the day-to-day management of their respective accounts, including setting specific strategic goals, meeting client expectations, training and leading staff members, developing effective public relations/marketing/social media plans and goals and successfully executing campaigns. The AS possesses a sophisticated understanding of media and analyst relations and knows how to develop lasting and fruitful partnerships with key influencers within their clients’ industries. The Account Supervisor is a strong writer and has a proven track record of success developing compelling content for a wide variety of marketing and PR materials. Additionally, this role is responsible for managing and mentoring other team members, leading new business research and proposals, networking and providing the agency with new opportunities.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Technology and B2B experience
  • 5-8 years in PR
  • 1-2 years of leadership and/or account management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent media relations skills
  • Maintains a network of media contacts
  • Team-oriented
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics, URL shorteners, web analytics, etc.
  • Provides day-to-day management of accounts
  • Manages staff and clients
  • Creates and executes successful media relations campaigns
  • Writes, proofs and edits a variety of PR materials
  • Leads new business research and proposal creation
  • Develops and leads strategic PR, Marketing and Social Media plans
  • Leads social media engagement for clients and agency
  • Determines strategic direction of accounts
  • Works independently and exercises discretion on important account and Company matters
  • Trains, motivates and leads staff
  • Works directly with Account Directors/Vice Presidents to determine innovative solutions to client issues
