What we looking for

Assistant Account Executives (AAEs) act as core team members on client accounts and perform various public relations and marketing tasks as outlined below.

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Prior PR agency experience
  • 1-3 years in Marketing/PR
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid media skills
  • Team oriented and ability to take the lead on relevant projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Cision, MuckRack or other PR programs are a plus
  • Contributes as core team member on client accounts
  • Creates and maintain media lists, editorial calendars, speaking and award matrices
  • Provides daily news monitoring for clients
  • Submits speaking abstracts and award nominations
  • Distributes press releases
  • Writes, proofs and edits a variety of PR, marketing and social media materials
  • Helps develop compelling pitches
  • Responds to journalist queries (HARO, Profnet, PRSourceCode etc.)
  • Develops client agendas, recap reports, clip and monthly reports
  • Interfaces with members of the media and analysts
  • Assists with development of strategic PR, marketing and social media plans
  • Participates in social media engagement for clients and agency
