Affect accepts Oregon Medicaid and most insurance plans. For many of our members, treatment is entirely free.
If you need healthcare insurance, you can find a plan and apply for Marketplace coverage through Healthcare.gov. You can apply for Medicaid coverage through Oregon Health Plan (OHP) at any time of year via OregonHealthCare.gov. You can also call OHP Customer Service at (800) 699-9075.

Outpatient
1x weekly counselor meetings, 2x weekly group meetings, and periodic medical appointments
Best for: People who have manageable mental health and substance-use symptoms, and have a reasonably safe home environment. They can maintain progress with scheduled weekly care.
Best for: People who face a greater risk of continued substance use, worsening symptoms, or difficulty functioning without frequent structure and support.
How we determine the right level: We look at the whole person—including physical and mental health, withdrawal risk, current substance use, safety, daily functioning, home environment, and treatment goals—and match them with the least intensive program that can safely and effectively meet their needs.
